Storage Options To carry your variety of stuff, small and big, there is a spacious glovebox, easy to access, door-mounted bottle holders (up to 1-litre), a centre console with cupholders, and a rear armrest compartment. And the cabin in a way is qutie practical with decent storage. Armrest Front and rear centre armrests with cupholders aimed at offering that extra comfort when you’re in the car, driving for long hours. The padded armrests contribute to relaxed driving and a premium feel, though the rear armrest’s storage is modest, which is understandable. The 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system (R-Line) improves stability; similarly, the 1.4L TSI is sufficient as well but might feel a little less responsive at high speeds. Ride and Handling This SUV undoubtedly is great to handle, which we experienced big time during our tests across driving conditions in the UAE. Be it city, highway or regular commute, the Tiguan never really shows any weakness in moving through challenging times. In fact, we are impressed with a balanced ride, with soft suspension on the Life trim nicely absorbing road conditions. The R-Line’s sporty build-up and bigger wheels enhance handling but firm up the ride, making it a real delight on twisty roads.
