  • The stylish LED lighting and new sporty elements such as larger wheels and a new rear lightbar further elevate the Teramont’s exterior look. The high proportions (5,097mm long, 1,990mm wide, 1,780mm tall, on a 2,980mm wheelbase) allow it a superb road presence and a large enough cabin, which directly appeals to families in need of a bigger car that is practical and also premium.
  • At the front is visually appealing, defines a wide grille with triple chrome bars and the brightened VW logo, undoubtedly a signature feature for the facelifted model, and it looks beautiful at night, which makes it recognisable instantly. We also think the slim, L-shaped LED headlights and notable DRLs give it a fresh and modern effect. For higher trims like the Highline, you get a stylish IQ. Light HD matrix headlights, which have adaptive beam patterns that smartly respond to traffic and darkness, improve the safety significantly. Also, the sporty lower bumper with pronounced air vents and fog lamps makes the SUV rugged.

Interior

Now you get a bigger 12-inch touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital display, which brings the joy of easy access with a modern tech experience. The multi-colour ambient lighting further enhances the overall cabin atmosphere and you feel like you are in a luxury car.
  • The cabin is a genuine example of particularity aligning with comfort. Practicality meets comfort. The design layout is simple, looks clean, and the control panel is appropriate for easy usage. You do, however, see some lower door panels rely on harder plastics, which seems a compromise with quality; nevertheless, overall the quality is as good as one would expect and gives you confidence of durability.
  • The front seats come with a good amount of size and comfort with exceptional support for long drives. The higher trims get high-quality leather upholstery, heating, ventilation, and power adjustment with memory functions, which take care of ease of driving, comfort and also good access to all the controls.   • Another key aspect of a comfortable cabin, and here, the tri-zone climate control (standard on higher trims) helps keep the cabin cool for the driver, front passenger, and rear seats, with separate vents. During our test, it turned out the AC is quite powerful and the cabin gets cool in no time.
  • Given a three-row SUV, the cabin is spacious, which also means plenty of space to carry our stuff around. At the front, the bigger size glovebox is good for keeping your documents and other big items. The access is super easy and opens rather quickly. Then door pockets for 1-litre bottles, a centre console with cupholders, and a rear armrest with storage are other spaces enough for family stuff.
  • Front and rear armrests with cupholders provide convenience during long drives and are comfortable to use with their larger size. The front armrest is padded and well-placed with enough space for relaxing during a drive; the rear is a little smaller but does the job.
  • Keeping your devices charged is taken care of by two USB-C ports on the front, two on the back, a 12V socket, and an optional wireless charging pad. At the rear, USB ports for the passengers.
  • Being a full-size, three-row SUV, what you get in the Teramont is generous space. The same is true with the boot, which measures 583 litres behind the third row, which appears to be right for a car of this size. And, you have the option of flattening the floor by folding the second and third row; in that case, the boots turn into a massive 1,571 litres of space.
